3 months agoI love this place but about a month ago I placed one of there air freshers on my console around my gear shift and what ever chemical in it melted part of my console. Advise one of the manager and was told he would check with their vendor. No happy about this..5 months agoThis used to be my fav car wash. The company switched ownership and they triple the prices. Doesn’t clean my car, and their car wash unit is always broken or doesn’t function right.. every time I come my vehicle always get stuck when the machine doesn’t work right. With the price being so high now you might as well go to a full service car washa month agoBenedict- employee helping me I’ve been coming here for a few months now and have the low membership. It’s a decent car wash with free towels, spray and vacuum. Location is great. Employees are somewhat friendly if they have to interact with you but won’t otherwise.a month agoIs it just me or does this place set it own hours of operation. Of course it some kind of equipment failure and we are paying a higher monthly rate than previous owner and it’s because it’s supposed to be better equipment. I’ve never experienced a car was that set their own hours except with the rain of course. A Friday early evening awesome weather better call or if you have the time to drive by and see if their open.2 months agoGreat car wash facility, strong vacuums, delicious smelling air freshener that is included with every wash. The car wash itself even has aesthetic coloring. It’s an experience at LUV.But all of the above isn’t why I am rating this place 5 stars. The service is EXCEPTIONAL. All of my experiences with the attendants have been pleasant. They are very helpful.
One attendant in particular, Brian, 200% deserves a raise!!! A great attendant and an absolutely incredible human being. I was having a hard day today and then I run into some car trouble while parked at the vacuum station. Brian took the time out of his shift to remediate my car issue (it was quite some time!) and never made me feel bad for it. Brian was so patient, understanding, and helpful, especially for something that was out of his job description! So grateful for your help Brian! Thank you for making a hard day a little bit easier. We need more people like you in the world.

2 months agoI feel like I lost $20 lol, so I paid for the their top wash that includes all the bells and whistles and I’m not truly sure what it did to my car it’s still significantly dirty. But the kicker was the towels, they had no clean towels, and the towels that they had in the used smelled awful! I am never coming back first and last time here.a month agoJulio helped me!!! I’m new to the area had never been to Soapy Joe’s so I must have appeared a little confused with all of the options. Someone quickly came to greet me and provided a recommendation for the car wash selection. I love that they provide cute little air fresheners with certain purchase. The vacuum bay also has many stalls available and clean towels for use. Will definitely be back!2 months agoGreat car wash. Got me cleaned up quick. Go and Alex keep the place nice7 months agoWonderful staff at this location. Our Prius c class has cheap pop out plastic side mirror covers. One came off in the machine. My brother and I ran to the employees at the front of the line. They all went looking for it and stopped the conveyor of cars. Enough to make a grown man cry. They got it back for us! Excellent service in that respect I would highly recommend a visit. Otherwise the machine has a lot of functions that I don’t see at other Soapys which is cool, and there’s a ton of vacuum spaces. All their washes are the same so don’t waste your money on the top tier wash. Also leaves strange grease smears on my white paint down by the tires… Also they raised the price from $3 a wash to $5 a wash and now it’s $10 a wash. Very disappointing
Easy to pay and go in the machine to get the car washed afterwards you vacum and dry the car and good to go!
Wow!! This car wash is my absolute favorite!! The staff is so friendly and helpful!! Specifically Russell!!! My car comes out beautiful everytime and it always brightens my day to stop in. Thank you to the staff there ☺️
I was happy, and it was a nice place until they cancelled one of my two memberships without me knowing. They said I cancelled it in person on 9/4/2023. I have no recollection of being there on that date.
My daughter arrived yesterday at the Palm Ave location with her father my ex to get her car washed under the membership plan (I’m actually the legal owner of the car), and they were not allowed in. No assistance. And I’m SOOO EMBARRASSED because now it appears as if I was trying to get her dad to pay for the wash. Think about it. I had asked them to go to get the car washed and said, “I have a membership,” then they arrive, and it says membership cancelled. This is 50% why I’m mad. The other 50% is because upon hearing this, I go and check my credit card and find out they charged me anyways on 9/16/2023 for the membership. Now why would LUVs charge for a service 12 days after it was “cancelled?” I contact them, but all I get is a vague text.
Before all this happened, the services were nice, the young folks working there were always courteous, work hard, my cars came out clean. I am so disappointed. I cancelled my membership for my other car and filed a claim with my cc company to refute the 9/16 charge. I’m concerned they are going to keep charging my credit card anyways. This is an energy drain. I’ll go to the local Chula Vista car wash now.
