4 months agoI pay a monthly fee to have unlimited washes, yet when I want to upgrade my wash, to the “best one,” at that, they still charge me full price. For what? And I get that the economy isn’t that great and all, but like – I used to work here.. I know that it only costs a few dollars to run that ultimate wash. A few years ago when it was $16, that was reasonable, and the profit margins were exceptional. $25 for the same exact wash?… Come on, guys. Heavily considering Galaxy car wash at this point.3 weeks agoSo many car washes these days. I can’t say one is better than the next. They are indeed getting expensive. I do appreciate the free use of vacuum and towels so I guess it all balances out in price? I guess I would think $15 it could at least get the bugs off the front. I pay for the monthly package, it’s worth it.2 months agoI loved it. I pay a monthly fee to get in as many times as I want. You drive up, the machine scans your barcode and you’re in and out, just like that. Free vacuums and clean towels to dry and clean your car. No complaints.4 months agoGranted, it says that google says they close at 8. But I wouldn’t have known that if my vacuum wasn’t randomly shut off. Confused, I asked the manager why it was working, he gives a snark remark about them being closed. I apologized and asked if I could just finish the last side of my car. He tells me no because they need to clear out the trash, and walks away. All the employees were busy doing other closing duties (brushing the lot and cleaning the inside of the car wash line) no one had even started with the trash. 5 more minutes to finish my vacuuming would have did no damage to him. Prime example of a power hungry individual. If not 5 more minutes of curiosity, letting me know before I spent $20 on an already poor wash that you would be closing in 10 minutes would’ve been greatly appreciated. Will never return.

3 months agoWorst ever! My bumper was pulled off by the car wash location in over a month ago and still no answer from the owners. I have a brand new Mercedes Benz. Went through for a quick wash and this was the result so go in at your own risk7 months agoPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this car wash! I bought a new car from another state, and I usually hand wash my cars, but when I brought it home I wanted it to look good for my wife to take to work the next day. So I thought in my mind this car wash is almost brand new what’s the harm… well I get home and am wiping off the car when I noticed tons of huge scratches and damage to the back and side of my SUV. So, I did what anyone would do and contacted the wash. They told me to go fill out a claim online and they would get back to me.. nope, nothing, so I filled out another one waited the days they recommend and nothing. Sent multiple emails to their help@galaxies and you guessed it nothing.. so I finally went in demanding I talk with someone in charge. The 20 year old “manager” told me to go over to Mayo auto #2 over in Killen as they were the owners and they can get it fixed for me. Took it there only for the lady to very rudely tell me the owners don’t work there and I would have to send an email… she then proceeded to go take a look at my car and basically call me a liar and that the machine couldn’t do that damage.. well it did lady… so after now almost 4 months of not writing a review here I am.. beware of this place and their faulty equipment!a week agoNot bad, I like the free vacuum usage after the car wash. Remember though, these car washes don’t replace hand washing your car, which is recommended to take maximum care of your car and its paint- and if your POV is vinyl wrapped you NEVER want to run your POV through one of these kinds of car washes. They’re not worth it. Once in awhile is okay (for vehicles that aren’t vinyl wrapped)- but I wouldn’t make a habit out of it. Better to spray it off with your water hose at home if you don’t want to hand wash it. And wash from top to bottom, and rinse that way. Never wash it in the sun either- shade is best or late evening (around twilight.) Just honest advice to help you take care of your vehicle and keep it looking nice! But that has nothing to do with the overall rating here, but I give it the rating I do because everyone is nice and super helpful and the vacuums are strong and every time I went, the trash wouldn’t be full or overflowing like at other places.9 months agoUnfortunately, I did not have a great experience nor can I recommend anyone.Todays Car Wash is much, much better. Galaxy offered a premium free wash and though I already have a membership, I wanted to give it a shot.
Unfortunately I went through the car wash twice and my car was still not clean. There was a coating of white film on my vehicle and small swivel scratches. Not only, the fella with the ginger beard and mustache that work on 1/12 at 6:30pm was extremely rude and not friendly. He even hinted that the free wash was for another location. And if it was so why didn’t the agent at the gate stated so? Like did he expect me to reverse and drive on the other side of town?
Unfortunately, going through a third time would not do any good so I’m literally leaving and heading to todays car wash for a proper wash.
If this is how they treat a potential customer I would never get a membership with them.
3 months agoI love Galaxie Express Car Wash! It is an excellent place to wash your vehicle. The attendants are very friendly and professional. The equipment does an excellent job cleaning my vehicle. I don’t have to keep towels in my car because they’re provided! I finally purchased a membership. I wish I had years ago! Better late than never. I believe it’s a great investment for my new 2023 Telluride.

Why would employees park at the vacuum cleaners when all the spaces are full and people are trying to vacuum their vehicles.Weekends are already busy and it’s worse when perfectly good spots are being used as employee parking.
Coming in a car came towards us and I was thinking. He can’t drive. Going in the car wash and coming out. The exit is kind of confusing if it’s your first time being there. Free vacuum was good. But my $15 car wash left the bugs on the window and bumper and didn’t clean as good as I had hoped for the price
The self-service wash is well-maintained and easy to use, but change your setting well in advance of when you, for instance, want to go from soap to rinse. It takes quite a while. The carpet washing machine swallowed one of our rear-seat carpets and tore it. The lady who came out to the machine to open it was unapologetic and curt. “YOU probably should not have put in a small carpet.” There is no warning on the machine about using only certain-size vehicle floor mats.
Just got my car fully buffed and paint corrected as well as ceramic coated. Felt lazy and went through this automatic car wash once and now my car is covered in hair scratches.
I recommend not going through their automatic car wash, they literally undid the full paint detail I just got done.
