2 weeks agoUsed to like to go to this car wash, however today went through car wash, like normal, while in wash it stopped 3 times. First time no biggie, while stopped had the over lay brush lay on top of my windshield, lasted a few min. It wash then started up again, thinking all was well it stopped again, at this point I’m believing something wrong? Then it starts again i move to the drying section and it stops right in the middle of drying and after another few min it starts again? Now I’m like what the heck just wanna get out of here and vacuum my car. Fast forward make it home to clean the inside of my car and clean the windows. I notice tiny cracks in my windshield, that had not been there before. Called up there tell them whats happening and they state that its probably rocks that hit my window. I said no ma’am I’ve never had issue with my windshield. I express that I can bring the car up and I’ve not to far away, go up there the same lady and a man come out to the car and state that, oh those are from hitting your windshield. I express to the lady that its not true and asked if they could file a claim, she said they could but its not going to so anything. Then state that oh well it looks like the rocks scratch the hood of your car as well. I said ma’am thats not true, your brush set on top of my windshield and put some cracks in it. I will no longer be a member of better wash if they can’t own up to their mistakes, I was not even mad just wanted them to fix it. Now that it my issue I’m not happy that I’m going to have to come out of pocket to fix it. Please do better.3 months agoFirst let me say that I’m big on reviews because just one review can reach hundreds/thousands of consumers whereas word of mouth not so much! Initially I went above and beyond in an attempt to resolve my matter to no avail. I then turned to writing negative reviews here on Yelp as well as Google. It was then I was contacted by ownership. The complaint stemmed from the mobile purchase witch is useless once picking up paper tickets. Yes, the QR code is worthless so don’t believe for one minute after picking up tickets in the office it has any monetary value. Ultimately the situation was made right therefore I will continue to be a regular customer in order to keep my two beauties clean and would recommend others that have a legitimate complaint to work it out with ownership/management!in the last weekGreat carwash! Only thing I wish they had is the free towels/ cleaning accessories like Kevins tunnel car wash. It would make it more of a value and not seem so expensive.6 months agoIt might be the better next to not good but it’s no Kevin’s car wash! Kevin’s is like Quick Trip and the better wash is like a Conoco station, moves slowly. Keven’s car wash in north Kansas City gives true priority to it’s members!a month agoSo this has been my go to car wash since it opened but the last 3 times I have gone, they were busy and left 0 space between cars on the belt going into the car wash. The first set of brushes had no time to reset and my wash overall was sub par when this happens. Regardless how busy it is, space should be left between vehicles. I was going to complain and take the car though again, but the wait was long and it should have been done right the first time. Do better.

4 months agoJust got my car washed there. Don’t bother. My car looks like it hasn’t been washed at all, including the dirty water dripping down the back. (See photos). They got rid of the people that dry too. Go someplace else or wash yourself.2 years agoVACUUM FIRST! The way this car wash is set up, the *big* bay of vacuums are before the car wash. If you go through and still want to vacuum, there’s a mini vacuum station for space for maybe 6 cars (vs 12 for the big one). The cleaning towels are only on the mini side. I didn’t see a mat cleaner machine and there’s not forced air either. If they added these things, it would be a 5 star even though the layout is a bit confusing. As far as quality, we have the membership so we can go to any location in KC and this one is just as good as all the others! Gets our car nice and clean. The attendants are so friendly.
a month agoThe staff at this location needs to be trained much better. The hand signals some of the ladies used to try and guide you into the car wash are confusing. During my last visit, the woman never indicated when to put my car in neutral, and she was trying to get me to pull forward way too close to another car.2 months agoCar wash has a hard time cleaning the front of my car. Other then that the monthly plan is good.5 months agoI really try to like y’all’s car wash, I love the free vacuuming, I forgot today, but when I come through, I try to make sure I have some cash on me so that I can tip the young ones. Before there were any issues, I always wondered, why is it only one person on the left side of the car spraying that side of the car down? What about the other side of the car? That’s dirty too, and who knows which side is the dirtiest, shouldn’t matter, when the whole car is supposed to be cleaned. Ironically today this out of the car that was dirty and cause me to notice was the side that was sprayed down. Every time that I come here through trying to give it another chance, my car is always still dirty! It doesn’t matter what washing I choose, as I have chosen all of them but I think one, though I probably have done all of them. Either way, all of the different washes should thoroughly clean the car. The mechanisms of the giant cloth strips just the weight of them alone obviously isn’t enough Force to thoroughly touch the car with enough pressure to actually clean it. This car wash is literally for free drying, and after you have went somewhere else or, manually washed your car on its own, use the vicinity to do a quick wash up of the car, but never any actual cleaning of dirt. Shame. I really try to like it. See also: Touchless Car Wash in Kansas City MO.

Absolutely disgusted at the response I received via email to a damage report filed merely 11 days after signing up for their unlimited monthly promotion. On my third visit, my antenna was completely ripped out of my Infiniti QX4. Being a 2002, it was still in excellent condition, and the woman who responded to my claim via email was accusatory and claimed that this COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I wonder if there isn’t a dumpster on site filled with the many items that become violently dislodged from their customer’s vehicles on the daily. Reading other reviews, I am sure I must go in person to immediately end my membership before months or years pass without being able to reach someone by phone.
Sadly, I was a hopeful new customer just under month ago. In a mere three car washes you have completely destroyed any chance of my future business, and I am not a person who often leaves reviews, but this needed to be said.
No integrity and no value in their customer service response team. One kind thing I can say is that the young lady who signed us up and the other young lady who gave me the information needed to file a damage claim were very responsive and kind. Beyond that, no dice. Do yourselves a favor, ladies. Go work somewhere you will be appreciated and paid what you’re worth. Kevin’s ain’t gonna be able to get you there. 🎲🎲
*Edited post response: You would have a better chance at regaining my trust if you could ensure I regained my antenna. I noticed on so many other responses there is an email to reach out to for further communication to resolve the issue. This was lacking in the response you left here. Perhaps you could offer a legitimate solution, that would be a positive step in regaining said trust.
Kevin’s car wash did not do well today for me. Most of the cleaners were filled with water. No chemicals at all. I got a nice scuff on my fender when I washed it today then I have to try to get buffed out. This is the second time that this is happened that one of the car washes. I usually go to Omaha to get my car washes done but I like to travel and be able to wash it when I go to Kansas City to see my family. The air nozzles barely worked last time that I was there for blown up crevices. Today they had zero air at all and the air nozzles. Overall was pretty dismal experience compared to normal even from this location. Everybody seem to be ticked off at the world around there. None of the employees had very happy personality. If this was normal, I would not pay a monthly charge for this. Look at the pictures you can see I went around for a whole bunch of different stations and took pictures of the different bottles. You can definitely tell by the glass cleaner that is water down diluted really bad summer nearly pure white, I also noticed it in the all purpose cleaner and in the scented carpet spray. I went there two weeks ago to the same location and I honestly felt that it was below par for what I expect at all the other locations I go to a Russell Speeder’s. Today it was much worse than when I speak of the personalities I talk to two people walking by and didn’t even understand what they were saying because they’re mumbling and avoiding eye contact.
Went here on July 14, 2023, to have my car washed as usual. Ended up with getting my bumper pulled off. Went to file a complaint and a member hands me a business card and says I have to do it online. Go to file the complaint and get charged to fill out and send the form. Then on top of it is a third party the form gos through. In the end it’s going to cost me a thousand dollars to fix, and probably will never here from them. Will never use there services again and would not recommend it to anyone.
This afternoon I stopped at this car wash for the last time. I purchased the premium wash. After the wash was done I notice that the flare gaskets on my vehicle were damaged and missing. The manager approached me after the incident stating that I failed to read the sign stating that their car wash was not responsible for any damages and any vehicles 5 years or older. This was however only told to me after the vehicle was damaged. The staff failed to inform me of any liability that this could happen. My vehicle has clearly aftermarket parts. I stated on my arrival that this was the first time I have been to their car wash but they still failed to inform of the possibility of damages. I have never been through a car wash that has damaged my vehicle before, so as a normal customer of a service I did not this that I should be worried of the concern to my property. Kevin’s Car wash refused to watch CCTV Footage of the incident and review the clear damages as well as provide me a refund. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with service and hospitality. My family has been members with the wash for sometime and referred me to the location. I would not recommend anyone to this wash again. The manager failed to provide me with customer service information or even his name, which I later to found out to be Paris Powell. I left today with about $200 in damages and a dirty truck. Thank you Kevin’s Wash Kansas City!
My cousin has an unlimited car wash pass but I was driving her vehicle. So last Sunday I drove over to get a wash and let me tell you, it was busy. Traffic coming in from 2 directions and one was lined out in the street. The girl at the pay gate recognized my cousin’s van and waved me up because she knew she had a membership. That was super awesome and made it so my wait time was only about 5 minutes. The wash does a decent job but if it doesn’t, you can always run through again because with the membership, it’s unlimited and the vacuums are 🆓 free
