3 weeks agoGreat place to get your car washed. We had a membership for years. Now we just pay each visit. The facility equipment is always updated and the staff friendly. It’s always very busy during rush hour and on the weekend. There’s always a line out the drive. I took away one star because it’s on the expensive side.3 months agoTypically I go through here and I am satisfied. Last few times I’ve gone through, as mentioned by someone else, one side of my vehicle would be sprayed, the other basically still having some dirt on the running boards or in the wheel wells where the washer doesn’t go. I haven’t complained.Today I went in, I was the only person there. No one going through in front no one behind me when I got there. I got the best wash. On occasion I splurge for a really good wash. I am disappointed. My back window has dirt streaks running down it when the wash was done, not to mention the outline from the wiper, which was before I pulled out. Also, the ount of bugs still on my front bumper looked like it hadn’t been touched. It didn’t have many to begin with, but now they are clean, and very possibly waxed. My wheel wells still have some dirt in them. If I had the time, I’d wash my vehicle myself, but I don’t so I go here. Also, the person who sprayed my car, stood in one spot directed me in and only moved when I was past. It wasn’t to spray the back of my vehicle. Had time been taken as I was the only vehicle, this may have been a very different review.
Addended – thank you to management who responded. I will likely be back in the next few days. For perspective though, my car was not extremely dirty. It hadn’t been driven in a bit because I was out of town, just road dust and bugs from a previous trip. That was why I was upset. Had it been really dirty, as I have gone in the past, I would not have said a word about how it came it. I was more frustrated I think with the person spraying it who didn’t even seem to try.
2 months agoThis Business delivers Quality and a great wash service, changing the Car wash game across Michigan, great, fast and very practical, a quick in and Out and your car is all washed, and now they re adding air pressured cleaners and strong free vacuums so you can clean your car in and out, make sure you drop at their Carpenter location and check the new vacuums they have too, you can even clean your engine block.7 months agoUsed to be great… nice new equipment, but they cut down on how many employees they have so they no longer spray both sides of the vehicle. Only the driver’s side. I was paying $36 a month for the wash pass and my truck still comes out with mud on the step bar. When I asked for the other side to be sprayed I was rudely told I don’t have time for that there is a line. You will have to go through it again. Not sure why my time is less important… I already waited in line and I already knew there would be an issue with the mud and what the solution was. Going through twice would not have fixed that, I have already done that in the past.2 months agoThis place only cleans one side of your vehicle. Everybody has an attitude. And your vehicle never gets clean. If u pay for the best pass you only get the bronze wash anyway. So u mise well only pay the 19 dollars.

6 months ago**Update May 2023**Lighthouse has done some major upgrades to the parking lot and vacuums.
Vacuums are free between 8am and 5pm. There are now dual hoses on them with the traditional flat extension and also a crevice tool. There is also a place to clamp your floor mats.
I should also add that when you go through this wash, there are always two people spraying off the car. They spray with power washers then wipe the front and back of vehicles with big brushes before you go into the machine.
This is a well-established car wash that’s great for auto-washing or DIY.
They have 5 bays in back of the property where you can spray off your car yourself. It’s covered and costs about 2 bucks to start. They maintain their equipment pretty well so everything works great. In the bays they also have brushes and clamps to hold your floor mats.
If you want to do the auto wash, this one is a little better than the other auto washes in the area. Some of the employees have been there for years and they do a great job.
Hint: if you slip them a tip when you drive into the auto wash, they will usually spray your car off a little better.
a year agoI used self service wash and first thing I noticed the water pressure was very low compared to other car wash I used in another places but I was most disappointed when there were no clothes to dry up the car. Now my car looks more dirtier then it was before wash.5 months agoLove that they replaced the vacuums with the new ones and it’s free!! They are upgrading the place, putting in kiosk to pay for the car wash, will definitely miss the human interaction, but time to upgrade and utilize the technologies3 years agoMy car has lowered suspension, so minimum ground clearance is only 4 inches, but they clean my car okay!Actually, most of time they done great job, but just sometimes, like only 20%, they don’t. When they are busy, they don’t clean my car perfectly especially wheels.

I LOVE this place! I have a monthly membership which is about $35 (I believe I got the fancy membership and the lower tier is way less.)
It is a little lame in the winter to be missing out on those washes however I think it is made up ($$) by the warmer weather and being able to go more often.
The fast pass (when you have the monthly membership) lane is often empty or far shorter than the pay per wash lane. I tend to be able to go straight thru and don’t have to wait long.)
I think it would be awesome if they cut fees in the winter maybe by ⅓ or ½ to make up for the fewer opportunity’s to wash.
Free vacuuming membership or not is great, of course. BUT ellsworth is doing a major parking lot renovation and will have much more space.
The employees from the office have been helpful and kind as well. sad to be moving and leave this place.
I’ve had an unlimited pass for a month and in my experience I do not recommend this wash service. I will preface by saying I have a new vehicle that I wash twice a week and as needed. When I signed up for the silver unlimited pass. Though, I wasn’t offered the $1 sign up price despite never having an unlimited pass with them before. When I asked they said it wasn’t being offered, it was even posted outside. They still charged me full price.
Their wash service is bad bad. I have to pass my car through on average 3 times in a row and my car is still not clean. There is only one worker on the line and they pack cars in like sardines so you risk getting rear ended leaving the wash line. The worker on duty doesn’t spray anything but the driver side panels. They don’t spray wheel wells, rear lift gate, front grille or windshield.
The zeeb rd location has horrible vacuums that barely have suction and spaces that aren’t wide enough. I’ve almost had my car hit a few times by other customers trying to vacuum out their cars. Overall there are better places to pay for a wash pass or even get your car washed.
Wow!!! I had not been there since the remodel. This place is awesome! I love the free vacuum and compressed air. The best addition is the free microfiber towels you can use to dry off your car. Cool stuff!

Not only they do a poor job on my vehicle, but their lack of professionalism and rude customer service made matters even worse. If you value your time and want a spotless car, I suggest looking elsewhere.
When I first pulled into this car wash, I was hopeful that their advanced cleaning technology and reputation would be worth the expense. Unfortunately, my expectations were shattered as soon as I left. To my dismay, the after-effects of the wash left my vehicle with noticeable spots and blemishes on the paint. It was clear that they had done a hasty and subpar job, leaving me feeling utterly dissatisfied.
Hoping for a resolution, I approached the person in the office named Adam, hoping they would understand my concerns and make things right. However, the encounter with Adam was nothing short of frustrating. Instead of offering to rectify their poor service, Adam responded with utter rudeness and a dismissive attitude. His lack of empathy and unwillingness to listen to my concerns only made the situation escalate further.
In any business, customer service should be of paramount importance. Sadly, in this car wash, it felt as if my concerns were met with a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promise of a clean car, but their staff, exemplified by Adam, showed no remorse or willingness to rectify the situation.
It’s important to find a car wash that not only does a thorough job but also treats their customers with respect. Unfortunately, this car wash failed on both fronts. The disappointing outcome, combined with the discourteous behavior of Adam in the office, left me feeling frustrated and completely dissatisfied.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this car wash service unless you are willing to take the risk of losing your money and experiencing rude customer service. It’s unfortunate that this establishment does not hold itself to a higher standard of quality and professionalism. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by seeking alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.)
