a week agoI got charged $15 each time for the 3 car washes I bought in a row. It has been over a week since the bank paid out the full amount $45! Still no sign of reimbursement from the carwash. I call every morning, noon and night trying to get someone at the number listed to no avail. This is outrageous! I’m on SS and $30 is a large amt for me. 3 weeks agoMachine took a $5 bill amd gave me 4 tokens. A wash is $10 for 5 minutes – overpriced! Vacuum works fine and is cheap tho.6 months agoThe bad reviews are not warranted, yes it pre-authorizes $15, but the proper amount shows up when it posts. If you’re low on funds, then use cash. I was able to completely rinse off my car with the high pressure hose in the about 3 mins and 45 secs you get for $5 (the minimum charge). It’s the only touchless option in Boulder that doesn’t cost a lot. Yeah, the gas stations can technically wash your car, but your paint will be toast after. Probably the best deal in town, and go easy on our locally owned and operated businesses, it’s not easy out there for anyone.5 months agoWash worked good, as expected. Almost $16 for a not even thorough 10 minute wash was not good though. Automatic washes nearby are half that price and do a good a job I could in 10 minutes.

3 years agoI did the full auto detailing package for my Ford Explorer. I wasn’t sure on the price (was it too high, I asked myself)… However, the reviews were all positive and I decided it was worth it to take the chance. WOW! That is the best way that I can describe the work they did. My car was dirty. Stuff under the seats, etc. When I got the car back, everything was clean (including the engine AND they managed to get all of those “extra” French Fries that were under the kids’ seats). I wish I had a before pic (who takes pics of a dirty car)? It was way more than just surface dirt. The carpets look new! The seats look new! The whole car shines and has only been this clean when we bought it new. Great group of folks! Worth EVERY penny (including the ones they found under my seat)!3 months agoDid not meet the expectations for a $460 bumper to bumper detail. Lots of areas not addressed like door jams, roof glass and trim work. I would not recommend this business if you are looking for an amazing detail like they promise.2 years agoTook my Tesla here for paint protection film on the front bumper/headlights as well as the gold package ceramic coating. I called a few different shops in Boulder before deciding on Boulder Auto Detail. Reggie was very friendly and thorough from my first call all the way until the job was done. Well, Boulder Auto Detail’s Mike has all 3 characteristics! And it really shows in their work!
I recently bought a black car and had no idea that normal washing could damage the paint that badly. Never again will I use a car wash with any kind of brushes.
I started researching detail companies and came across Boulder Auto Detail. I went by and talked with Mike. He showed me around the shop and while I was there, they were working on 3 Tesla’s, a Range Rover, and a $120,000 Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon. Ok, if that owner trusts their car to Mike, I can with my black Subaru.
I opted for the Ceramic Pro Sport exterior detail. Mike and his team went above and beyond with their work and the car looks spectacular! And I know I’ll be back to do the full CeramicPro package as Mike demoed it to me and I was instantly sold.

5 years agoMike and Evan did an amazing job on my 2008 BMW that has been sitting in Boulder for the last 3 years exposed to the sun etc.The paint oxidation in my opinion was beyond repair but they did a full paint correction and brought it back to its original luster. They followed that with a Ceramic Pro coating – amazing – – car has a pearl sheen to it and feels like glass.
I have another BMW 2002 (Family Show Car) that I will be bringing to Mike for the same makeover.
Being from New York and being a car guy I can’t say enough about my satisfaction!!

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt twice. My car was still dirty when I got back two times – I had to ask them to wipe down very obvious areas like the nose marks from my dog on the back window and dog hair on the captain seats, finger prints on my screen, dust on my console, and even TRASH in the door! Not sure how they missed it. They seem to be just trying to churn out cars quickly and don’t spend any quality time on the car – which is frustrating because they are overly priced. It stinks because it’s a great concept and the inside is great and I love the coffee shop, but just seems that they don’t care much about quality car washing.

I get that they are not a detail company but they didn’t even put rag to my dashboard

BTW after driving home, I took a hot rag …just water… to my dashboard and cleaned it in less than 5 minutes.
I can’t believe I spent $19 on the worst car wash I’ve ever had.
I am never going back.
I’ll start by saying the inside of the shop is adorable. They have great gifts and goodies, it’s VERY Boulder. I ordered a coffee and worked from the shop while they express detailed my car. They said it would take one hour.
Fast forward 2.5 hours later, I was left VERY underwhelmed and disappointed. I paid $120 (including gratuity) for what was advertised as a full auto detail. However, I feel what I got what a basic exterior wash and interior Vaccuum and wipe down. There was lots of areas left dirty and I felt it did not warrant being labeled as a “detail”. I would not pay $100 again for this service. If it was advertised as a exterior/interior wash for $40 I would. But this just wasn’t it.
***Also worth mentioning I have 2 car seats in the back seat so the work required to detail the back seat was very minimal and still it was left very dirty. I didn’t even have them touch the truck as I have two strollers and other large items back there. I feel for a detail job this should have been easy and quick.
If I could give a negative star review, I would. You hand your keys over and they take your car through….Mine was returned 20 mins later with a broken windshield. Just know if you give your keys to these people they will not cover damage THEY cause to your car. So apparently they will literally break your windshield and refuse to cover it. Most expensive car wash EVER.
They put scratches all over my new truck hood and tailgate. There is even a small deep paint scratch that will need to be touched up. The manager, Frank Camacho, told me he would have the owner call me the next day – which never happened. A week has gone by. I used to love this place when it was Puddle and went all the time, but the new ownership is just awful!! They do not care about their customers or repeat business. Save your money and time and vehicle and go ANYWHERE else. And Frank, I’m still waiting for that phone call.
