a month agoI’m writing this review specifically for the young gentleman that signed me up for my membership this evening. His name is Isaac and he really made something as simple as signing up for a membership an exceptional experience. He was very thorough and honest in his explanations with the memberships, showed patience with my questions, showed tremendous attention to detail and also corrected the mistakes made by his coworker to make sure everything was perfect for me. The quality of the wash on my vehicle was great but Isaac was what really made this place a 5 star experience.5 months agoMy vehicle was soaked when it came out and the tire dressing might have been applied to 1/4-1/2 of the tire’s surface. I just wasted $5 dollars on the wheel treatment. They look worse than they did when I got there. This is EXACTLY why I canceled my subscription. These washes USED TO BE great, now, not even decent.3 weeks agoIssac at the zips on western ave was super helpful! There was an issue with the online purchase and he managed to get it all worked out and even wiped down my seats and pressure washed my mats! He is so friendly and awesome!a month agoI got the monthly subscription for the $10/mo car washes and I am entirely satisfied with the quality of Zips Car Wash in Knoxville. Both Kingston Pike locations are great and I recently visited the Western Ave location and I gotta say the free vacuums and towels are so clutch…I always feel super safe and never rushed when I am tending to my whip after the initial rinse. Definitely worth the money.3 weeks agoIssac from Zips Western Ave, Knoxville was awesome! Had trouble with an online order car wash which he solved. He also helped me clean the inside of my car. Very kind guy!

a month agoDadrain went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was the only person working at the time and took care of 7-8 customers all while assisting me. He even helped a customer that had locked his keys in his car. I simply can’t say enough about this incredible employee. Darian is a huge asset to Zips in my opinion. Thank you Darian!a month agoHorrible experience with billing. Zero customer service if you try to contact corporate. Shady billing. I joined for $10 first month but then I wanted the cheapest monthly option, $25, but was charged $45. Outrageous. I felt robbed. I never wanted nor requested the most expensive package so yes, they price gouge and mislead. And they refuse to offer the car freshener sprays that they ALWAYS do in Texas. So in TN, the corporate cheapskates don’t think it’s important. Sad, because it’s a major plus in my book, so it’s even less I get with my overpriced membership. I regret joining.Update 9/25: Went in person to local location and still no resolution. I keep getting charged monthly but my tag never works. I even showed the kid in the office my phone where my bank charged my Visa several times, the latest of which was this current month. But NO, my tag never works.
2 months agoGreat people. Great wash. I like zips because they provide the cleaner sprays and towels. Easy enough to cancel a membership too.Edit: canceling my membership due to staff signing me up for the highest cost one when I specifically requested, repeatedly, the basic plan. Can only cancel through a phone call and customer service is only open Monday – Friday. Randomly closed their location without any notice is what tipped the bucket.
a month agoEvery time I’ve been to this car wash, I’ve left completely satisfied. Today, there was a nice, helpful young man named Matt who helped me & I was impressed w/how knowledgeable he was. Also, my dog liked him & dogs always know good ppl.2 months agoI’ve been using this car wash since I moved to Knoxville and have loved my experience so far. Dadrian is typically working when I go there and he has been very helpful and I see him working very hard every time I swing by the car wash.

Car wash brush sensor malfunctioned today, scratching and denting my front passenger fender (fortunately it’s somewhat flexible), went behind my antenna and side mirror, ripping/breaking it off outward until it hung by the wiring then leaving more scratches on my black 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 😡 I watched from my seat (passenger) since my Husband was driving and could see the center “metal bar” within inches of my truck, feeling helpless and furious that it hit so hard I thought it was coming through my door and didn’t shut down automatically!! As soon as we pulled around and stepped inside where both employees were, Tyson says right away that they’re not responsible for mirrors, antennas or most any damage and the sign says so. Seems they already knew it had happened and were quick to tell us of the words I’m sure Zip’s trains them to say; not I’m sorry that happened and is everyone okay… This brush went into my front fender and behind my mirror so hard that it shook my entire Jeep, wouldn’t have mattered if the mirrors were in or out! I have included a copy of where their sign is as you enter the car wash and are guided up onto the track, because you’re reading a sign and not paying attention to the person standing there telling you which way to pull forward. They will pay for all damages, I can promise that and I’ll never do business with them or any touch wash again! Accidents happen but the coerced not responsible and lack of concern is what done it for us!
