2 months agoCar is clean but…seems like some maintenance is necessary. Sep 19th 2023 – the pre wash pressure spray was broken, I had to move my car 3 times in order to get to a vacuum that worked and the floor mat cleaner was not working and based on the note that was there it seems like it hasn’t been working for awhile. I’ll take my car though the wash but if I wanted to do some extra work I’ll go somewhere else.3 weeks agoThis does not deserve a 4.8 at least not any more. I have used this a few times and used to like the included cleaning supplies and vacuum. I went today to clean my car inside and out before a wedding. The car wash itself was fine, no manual cleaning for the basic wash but for price I thought it was OK as long as it had the stuff for me to clean inside. But I parked my car twice in spots where vacuums don’t work, and someone told me to park in the smaller zone for a working vacuum, and most of the vacuums have been out of service a long time. So I got in a spot with vacuums and as I went to get towels, another customer explained they are always out of towels. The employee told me that people steal the towels faster than they can get them in, and that work orders go in for the equipment promptly although repairs are not done apparently. He did offer that they’ll have towels soon and I can come back in to use the towels. I had set up the stuff in the car so I could access the inside better for cleaning, so it is inconvenient that I couldn’t finish the cleaning. It seems to be expected that the equipment is broken and the supplies are stolen faster than they replace them. 3 other cars were there that had subscriptions that brought their own rags knowing that there would be no towels. Why have a car washing business if you can’t keep up the equipment and supplies to wash a car. Why build numerous car washes and then let them fall into disrepair. I can’t imagine people are keeping their subscriptions.a month agoThe actual wash was great! As I exited the wash, trash was across the exit. I drive Thru the trash and parked to wipe my car down, Love the drying rags, by the way. As I reached for the vacuums I noticed they were ALL out of order, on the one side. Hope this gets fixed soon.a month agoGreat car wash, does the best of any automatic one I’ve tried. Have the monthly subscription. 2nd time in two weeks here and one half the vacuums still out of service. When you first opened the guys sprayed off both sides entering, front, and back. Then down to one side where the controls are, and last three times here, no hand spraying of anything. Pay attention to details! There are always other choices. Don’t lose regular monthly paying customers!2 months agoLow stars because I am so tired of Zips raising prices and taking services away! Vacs are broken more than they are working. It is hit or miss. However TERRACE is an exceptional employee! He is positive. He is amazing with customer service! I would highly recommend Terrace to anyone but not Zips Carwash at all. a month agoUsed to be good under another name. Now they charge $30 for the best wash and don’t even bother to do your wheels as they once did. And car doesn’t come as clean as before–so wash it yourself or hit other such car washes on Wards or Timberlake. Avoid this one at all costs.4 months agoVery friendly and helpful. Thank you for not turning me away.a month agoChmura’s service was by far the best I’ve had at ZIP’s in over a year. I have a subscription to ZIP’s because of my job as a real estate agent. He took the time to use the hand operated pressure washer all over the exterior of my car, which meant a great deal to me because I am a real estate agent and my clients regularly see my see my car at showings It’s crucial for me to be professional and meticulous from the moment I drive up. My estimation of ZIP’s began to decline about a year ago when they stopped pressure washing my rubber floor mats (apparently because the soap solution is too noxious now). Then they started only pressure washing one side of my car and recently stopped pressure washing it entirely. That left my car with big areas still dirty after leaving the car wash every time.It was such an unexpected blessing for Chmura to return to ZIP’s old customer service ways. He was also very pleasant and professional to boot! That’s just not something we see in the world today, and it did not go unnoticed! I hope the upper management at ZIP’s takes note and rewards a person who is such a great asset to their company! Thanks, Chmura, for a job well done!
3 months agoFor the past 2 months I have not been really happy with the service at Zips. Seems to be a lack of employee initiative and a lack of detail. However today I went to the zips on old forest and was totally impressed. Justin did an excellent job. I had a lot of bugs and road dirt from a 2,000 mile trip. Justin worked on the front of my car got the bugs off and sprayed the road grim off. Wish all of the Zips had employees like Justin, keep up the good work!2 months agoGo to this place! Chmura will take care of you and your car! Love the speed of the work and how easy it is to use. Trust me I’ve been everywhere due to the military and these guys are the best.

Great customer service! Bought a car wash which was awesome. You can vacuum your vehicle at no charge, the best part is you don’t have to purchase anything. ITS COMPLETELY FREE!!! They also have little air sprayers that is very powerful and blows out dirt in those impossible to reach places

Just bought a Tesla and wanted to keep it clean so I came to Zips and inquired about the family plan membership. Connor was super helpful and knowledgeable and help me get everything set up perfectly. The wash is gentle on the vehicle and does a good job cleaning.
They raised their prices and stopped doing pressure wash pre soak. They have 3 lanes to get in and only one is ever open which makes the line constantly back up. Half the vacuums are clogged or don’t work well. Haven’t seen any improvements after raising prices, only cutting corners. I can’t wait for this new car wash to open so I can switch.
Wish they would fix all the check in kiosk so all 3 lanes are operating at Wards Road Lynchburg. Half the vacuums are ever working there. Wish ALL locations accepted the original scanner decal I have for my membership. Some locations use a different software which makes it very challenging to use those other Zip locations. If they could fix that challenge, it would make doing business with ZIP so much easier!
