4 months agoAvoid this place now. I used to go to this location when it was the previous owners(Xpress), but the new owners have diminished the quality. My car is not perfect, I have hard water spots on certain parts of my vehicle that will never be washed. However, my windows have never left a car wash with so much dust. Here is a picture of how my car turned out.a month agoBecause this business had recently changed ownership, on the day I went they were offering a free car-wash plus a bag with a cloth for window drying, a dashboard cleaning wipe and a car air freshener. Their best wash was provided at no cost, and I was able to vacuum it, also for free, and drive off in a much cleaner car. Thanks, Rapid Xpress!6 months agoIt is a good deal to get the monthly pass, you get two car washes per day for a whole month. If you go twice or even once a week, you save so much already.Lost a star.
Sadly, the car wash took and broke my driver door rubber. They retrieved it and that was it. Thankfully that was the only thing that broke. Also, no more dash wipes for members.
6 months agoI am super-sad. We loved this car wash and have had an unlimited wash plan for the past year. They must be under new management because a lot has changed in the past couple of months. There are no longer attendants scrubbing down vehicles prior to entering the wash or wiping down the car upon leaving. We have gone weekly for the past month, hoping to see some signs of care care but no luck. My vehicle is not clean after leaving.6 months agoI used to love this car wash, it was amazing! I went yesterday and I was told, they “did away with” their hand prewash and hand dry service. I was told this after I paid for my wash and proceeded through the car wash only to come out the other side with a still very dirty roof, hood and windshield. I complained to the employee working, showing her my bug covered windshield. She offered to send me through again. I said I would rather my money back after hearing that they had “done away with” the most important employees at the car wash. What does that mean exactly, “done away with”, have they been euthanized? I certainly hope not… anyway, I was refused a refund citing that there was no manager available to take my complaint and request for refund. I agreed to go back through the car wash and after the second wash my roof was better but the windshield was still covered in bugs. So disappointing. I will never go back to this car wash. I don’t recommend that you do either. Cut corners to save a few bucks and you ruined your business. Good luck.

a month agoI was at this car wash on Olive last week, I was in the middle of the wash with a car infront of me and then all of a sudden the car infront of me started to roll back into me not once but twice. I held the brake and honked twice and long, but did the lady stop it NO. It kept going, so when I got out I was really upset and I had said something to the lady she didn’t seem to care at all it was like she didn’t care at all. I even talked to someone else and all I was got was a im sorry. I did ask them aren’t you supposed to stop the car wash when someone honks? He said yes, but of course he didn’t seem to care at all. It made me mad that I was treated this way. I forgot to call corporate that day. I will never ever go back to this one ever again. I mean if something else was to go wrong they won’t stop the car wash and won’t seem to care at all, well at least the 2 people that I talked to that day. It was actually a little scary having that car start to roll back into me the way it did and them not even caring enough to stop the wash when I honked my horn. I have never had an experience like this before. I do wish I would have called corporate and reported them that day for lack of caring about the whole situation at all or doing what they are supposed to do when someone honks their horn.5 years agoIf I can give zero stars I would! I strongly recommend NOT to visit. Take your service elsewhere or do it yourself at home. Recently I visited the Merced Prime Shine for a wash which resulted in damages to my vehicle. Around August 25th, shortly after I left the car wash I noticed some chipped paint on both the right and left side of my car. I immediately returned to the business and put in a claim for damages. Upon receipt of my claim, the claims representative informed me that all he can offer is free washes! Really?? I already have the unlimited wash package and as a result of their service I have damages to my vehicle, yet, I’m offered a free wash? To go back and ruin my car further? I’m lost in words! Prime shine’s claim representative explicitly told me that they are refusing to pay for the damages to my car since the claim rep. felt it could have NOT been caused by the wash. Wow! Just wow!! And then he said that he will wait for a repair estimate from me to consider covering half or even nothing at all. Well then, explain to me what happened to my car?? My car is no longer in the same condition it was before I entered the wash! Explain, explain, explain. Is Prime Shine intentionally denying my claim knowing that their wash malfunction somewhere along the way in order to avoid claim cost?? I’m definitely writing to BBB.6 months agoIt’s expensive $10 plus. Wash okay. Still bugs left over. Free vacuum is cool. I pick the $14. Seem better than basic. They have unlimited membership for $29 a month.3 years agoThis has changed ownership to “Mister” car wash and the quality has dropped dramatically. On paid $15 and got no pre-wash and my car was still dirty after going through the automated wash. I will not be going back here again.7 months agoI don’t know what it is about this location, but every other Mister location actually gives me the complete package I pay for, Platinum Exterior. This location cheaps out and I only get the regular wash even though I pay for the platinum service. How do I know? Because at every other Mister my car shines from the wax, the wheels and tires are glossy, and rain beads off my windshield.

Really great wash. So happy I got the $20/mo deal. Evan is the best. Had he not reminded me to put my antena down on my 1980 datsun 280 zx, it would have been a bummer for me. My car is sparkling white now.
The wash itself seems fine. However, the air dry aids at the end of the tunnel don’t work extremely well. Therefore, you will have to park hand dry if you don’t want water spots.
Now, the vacuum area is what’s frustrating. They don’t work! When you find one that is working, it does not seem to work at full functionality.
C’mon, Mister, get better, please
Since I became disabled for life due to a work injury. It’s made so much easier for me to take my car to Mister Car Wash to keep my car nice and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Places hy Mister car Wash in the central valley are always clean.
The worst Misters Ive ever been to. You always have to wait in line. So disrespectful to members, the members lane is always closed and the attendee always talk forever to move to line through.
There’s no one there to scrub the front and back of your car anymore. The stains don’t fully come off of your windows. They don’t even offer car air freshners and dashboard wipes anymore. They can do better. Oh. And I also miss the people who actually wiped down our cars for us when we get out of the carwash. I happily tipped them, but now we just leave the carwash all dripping with water.
