My car looked the same as it did before I got the wash only wet.a year agoI used this car wash on June 3rd. According to Christian who stated he was the manager, the system malfunctioned and the top roller was not properly turned off. As you can see the roller damaged my rod holder, rack and bent the rails on my truck bed where the clamps for the rack held it on the bed. I was told that the individual running the car wash should have never left the bay as it was his job to hit the kill switch if something happened. He left the bay and proceeded to enter his van at the entrance of the car wash. I had to sit in The car wash while blowing my horn to try and get the attention of someone. I was left In The bay for multiple minute. I blew my horn and No one came to help. I finally had to exit the bay at my peril to finally find Christian, who was about to leave for the day. I was told this would be taken care of and that they would pay for all damages. I have given Christian a quote for all things damaged. It is now 06/16 and I still have not heard from anyone on how this damage will we resolved. FYI I was told by one of the individuals who did my quote for the truck that this is a regular occurrence at Zips. When I told him what happened he asked if it happened at Zips. Used this car wash at your own peril. I have now tried to follow up with Christian the last two days and am being ignored. Left a message, no call back.Update…. We are now on day 6 with no calm back from Manager Christian. I asked him to provide me with a claim number. You would thing 20 days after a claim was created that this would be provided to the customer. No such luck.
I filled out the online form as the response to my review asked me to do. We will see if corporate cares about what is currently happening with this situation. At this point, unless you have the money to fix damages caused by this car wash out of pocket and then go after them in small claims court I would not recommend getting your vehicle washed here. Not a good place when things go wrong.

2 weeks agoI want to love the Zips car washes and maybe do a subscription, but when I pay an extra $5 for tire shine and get only partial tire coverage I have second thoughts. Come on Zips!3 months agoKris was so professional and helped me through the whole process. Even came over after to ensure everything was perfect with my wash. Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! He is truly an asset to the company. I will only go to this location even though there are several in my area because of the service I get here.2 months agoLove coming to this Zips. It’s fast and easy. The membership fee is not much at all per month for unlimited washes. I was helped to renew my membership by Chris today and he was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional . 🙂3 weeks agoJoined recently… a week later tried online to downgrade to regular wash as we can’t afford $45 per month. It disallowed me to make that change, saying I could only change once a month. That was my first attempt at lowering the monthly cost. I like the service, and am happy to pay $25 per month… without all the shelacking of special coatings! Maybe someone from ZIPS can help me with this issue!?!?!?2 months agoI was impressed with Chris’s customer service. He was able to help me with my membership inquiries and did so with ease. First of all.. it’s fun to take the ride through the car wash! After the ride you can use these powerful vacuums to clean the interior. They also provide towels and squirt bottles for the few chunks of serious ich.
I love the car wash itself but, more times than not, here lately, the people that guide cars in seem very impersonal, even with scows on there faces, just angry at the world. Then goes back inside. Did the service stop where they spray the bottom of the car around it before entering?
Just moved here from Atlanta. Yikes, I was expecting to find better car washes here in Asheville. If this is a 4.3 rated business, I hate to see what a 3.3 rated one is like. My first impression is that the facility is filthy inside the car wash and especially out in the vacuum bays. Half of the vacuum hoses were unhooked, and the first two I tried had virtually no suction in them. The car wash folks here in AVL really need to up their game.
Worst place ever! Got charged $45 for the month and the car wash didn’t even clean my car and on top of having a dirty car there’s no rags or spray so you have to leave with water spots on your car. Don’t waste your money go to auto bell! The employees said they won’t put out any rags or spray bcuz they all got stolen… this place never has rags or spray.
Great place to get a car wash. I was in and out quickly, my Ford Expedition was clean and they have some vacuum stations to dump your trash and do a quick vac. I came to zips car wash because they had good ratings and good they are. I definitely recommend them.
